Weekend Course
Trousers — Weekend
For students who’d rather keep their weekday evenings — a focused trousers course on weekend mornings. Over 16 weeks you’ll go from a tape measure and a blank sheet of paper to a finished pair of hand-made trousers: measuring, drafting, cutting, building, fitting and finishing.
A well-made trouser is one of the hardest garments to get right, and one of the best teachers. The skills you build here — accurate drafting, clean seams, careful pressing — are the foundation for everything else in tailoring.

How You’ll Learn
Hands-on, from the first morning. You’ll work on your own trousers, with an instructor guiding every stage and fitting you as you go. Each new technique is demonstrated, then you practise it yourself until it is clean. Weekend mornings keep your weekdays free while you build real craft skill.
Who It’s For
Anyone who wants to learn trousers properly on weekends — whether you’re starting out or adding to what you already know. Tell us about your sewing experience when you register and we’ll guide you on what to expect.
Where It Leads
Add a waistcoat with Trousers & Waistcoat (evenings), build towards a full suit with Italian or British Coat Making, or browse all courses.
